What does the ADISU scholarship cover, and who gets it?

What it is
The regional scholarship from ADISU Puglia, the "Bando Benefici e Servizi" (Benefits and Services call). ADISU is the regional agency for scholarships, residences and canteens, not part of UniBa. It pays a cash grant and gives you a tuition exemption, free meals and, if one is available, a residence place.
Why you need it
For 2026/27 the grant is 7,172 EUR if you're "fuori sede" (living away from home, which includes students from abroad), 4,191 EUR if you're "pendolare" (commuting) and 2,891 EUR if you're "in sede" (living in Bari). It goes up 20% for eligible STEM programmes, and up another 15% if your ISEE (an index of your family's financial situation) is at or below half the 26,000 EUR threshold.
When
For 2026/27, applications ran from 14 July 2026 at 08:00 to 13 August 2026 at 12:00 for Bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle degrees, and run from 1 to 30 October 2026, closing at 12:00, for PhD and specialisation courses.
What you need first
- An ISEE up to 26,000 EUR and an ISPE up to 56,000 EUR, plus the merit requirements. See "ISEE"
