Where do I go first when I arrive in Bari?
What it is
The International Students Office, "U.O. Studenti Internazionali", is UniBa's office for international students starting a full degree. If you're an exchange or Erasmus student, your office is the Incoming Mobility Unit, in the same building.
Why you need it
It's your main point of contact for anything admin, from enrolment to your permit. You hand in your original documents here, and the staff can tell you exactly what's missing. They can also help you pay your first instalment and get your Esse3 portal working if you haven't done it yet.
When
In your first two weeks in Bari.
What you need first
- Your passport and visa, if you needed one
- Your codice fiscale
- Your original diploma, with its translation and its legalisation or CIMEA documents
Ask a student
Ask what the office told them they were missing on their first visit. It's different for almost everyone, and someone who has been through it knows which papers the staff actually looked at.
