What it is
The checklist of documents to have with you, translated and certified, before you board your flight.
Why you need it
University enrolment, the residence permit and health service registration all ask for these at different points in your first weeks. Arriving without one means a delay while you request it from your home country.
When
Certified translations and notarised copies are slower and more expensive to arrange once you are in Italy. Prepare everything below before you travel.
What you need first
- Your visa, if your citizenship requires one
- Access to your school and university's records office, to request certified copies before you leave
