Tuition and fees
How much is tuition at UniBa, and when do I pay it?
What it is
UniBa's tuition, the "contributo onnicomprensivo" (all-inclusive contribution), comes with a 16 EUR stamp duty and a regional tax that everyone pays too, except students exempt under Law 104/92 or with an invalidity of 66% or more.
Why you need it
What you pay depends on where your family lives and where its income and assets are, not on your citizenship.
When
You pay in four instalments. The first is 162 EUR (16 EUR stamp duty and 146 EUR regional tax), due by 30 November 2026 when you enrol. The second is 35% of your contribution plus any regional tax balance, due by 26 February 2027. The third is 35%, due by 30 April 2027. The fourth is the rest, due by 30 July 2027. Late payment carries a penalty. If you're exempt, the later instalments are cancelled automatically.

Ask a student
Ask a student from your own country what they paid in their first year. The group and the regional tax band add up differently for everyone, so a page's numbers only get you so far.
